That is very generous of you to say. It definitely takes two to tango… ;)
I love your writing too. Your perspective as a foster mum is so valuable. Thank you again for that!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15699818088459872973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-770828413593429852.post-1106263996221210742014-04-08T23:27:02.633+01:002014-04-08T23:27:02.633+01:00Thanks for this. We have met before but this is the first time he will come to my house (although he never actually lived in this house) and see some other people as well as me and my son, and we will visit a local park. Your insights have been very helpful in preparing me for how things might be from his viewpoint.

Also, I must just say a word about your role in all of this. At my recent annual fostering review, I was congratulated on a good handover to adoption with this little boy, and I had to say that it was due in large part to the generous nature of his new mummy who really went out of her way to be understanding of the relationship between us and her need to, as you say it, integrate his past with his present and future. Without her open-hearted generosity, I would not have the great privilege and pleasure of being able to stay in touch with a little boy who I loved and nurtured for nearly half of his life before he was moved on. She doesn't need to include me but she does. You don't need to include Rosa, but you do, and that says a lot about you as a person.Rebecca Brookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03323122949121536943noreply@blogger.com
